more Info

info This technical cave expedition first leads us through non karst formational moorlands up to the naked Schrattenfluh.

During the day, you will learn how and why caves in this area were formed in the first place. We will also look into the vulnerable karst ecosystem and the biosphere reserve. As a culmination we will together descend in to the fascinating fairy-tail world of one of the most beautiful caves in the area.

Our cave guides played a leading role in exploring this cave system and are still actively researching it. The excursion is geared towards participants with prior cave experience and rock climbing skills.
