	Arrival by Public Transport: Especially for tours on the river Vorderrhein: comfortable arrival by train to Reichenau / Illanz possible.

Requirements

	Prerequisites
	No prior knowhow necessary; However knowing how to swim is recommended.
	Should you have little swimming practice please inform your boat guide so that we can look after you..
	What to Bring
	Swimming Gear; Towels Rucksack or Bag If necessary: fixture for glasses, sun cream Depending on weather conditions, we recommend that synthetic sport underwear is brought along as additional warmth (no cotton).

All our rafting tours on offer are carried out in collaboration with our long standing and safety certified partner "Swissraft".

These wild water rafting boats are always steered by a professional river guide. These guides have completed a special training programme (BASPO accredited) and upon graduation have received a SOA (Swiss Outdoor Association) license. In addition there are always two river guides on duty even if only one boat is launched. In minimum, one of the river guides has trip leader authorization, which can only be obtained after extensive river experience and additional tests.

Thanks to top class trained staff, a professional attitude and state-of-the-art equipment, risk can be mitigated and further reduced. The risk of an accident during a white water rafting tour is not larger than a driving to the meeting point. Trust our experience!

Example of a programme's course of action based on a half day tour on the river Vorderrhein:

• Park your car in Reichenau
• 5 minute walk to train station Reichenau
• Get train ticket before the train leaves at restaurant "Bahnhofbuffet"
• Take the train in direction "Disentis"
• Get off at station "Ilanz". You will be picked up by our staff at the station's kiosk
• 5 minute drive in our bus to our base
• Welcome and change of clothes (attire provided by us)
• Your personal belongings will be transported by bus to Reichenau
• Briefing and embarking
• Rafting 20km Ilanz – Reichenau – river Vorderrhein
• Disembark and change of clothes in Reichenau
• Refreshment and leave
• Duration: approximately 3 ½ hours from train station Ilanz
