Adventurous cave expedition full of fun and action
This guided cave tour in our natural underground climbing park in Switzerland’s largest cave begins comfortably in the developed part of the cave. It then continues into impressive side passages, where the first Hölloch explorers investigated the mysterious cave passages more than a hundred years ago. The Hölloch course is a small expedition, which means that you cannot always walk upright, but there are areas where you have to climb, crawl, climb up or down a ladder, or even squeeze through a narrow passage. But don’t worry, it’s not that narrow! Along the way, you will encounter fascinating stalactites and impressive rock formations.
Cave experiences
The guide will tell you a lot about the formation of the cave, the rocks and the animals that live there. You will hear and experience for yourself how the acoustics in the cave work. Or what it is like when all the lights are switched off and you experience true darkness. You will listen to the sounds and noises of the Hölloch, but also enjoy the silence of the cave. In short, it is an all-round intense caving experience that is easily manageable for healthy people with normal fitness levels.
Depending on weather conditions, you can also descend into a cave area where you will find beautiful sinter formations. These are areas that we only walk on barefoot so as not to damage this natural wonder, the Hölloch cave.
Great fun for companies, clubs, families, stag parties, school classes
…or simply for all outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers! Immerse yourself and be inspired! And don’t forget: a cave tour is not only – but also – a great bad weather activity; you always have a safe roof over your head!
